Our Vision: A World Where Every Dog Thrives
Our Vision is to create a haven where dogs not only exist but thrive. Through off-leash hiking adventures, private walks, and nurturing in-home sitting services, we see a future where every dog is happy, healthy and truly alive.
We strive to help owners feel more comfortable with their dog’s natural ability to stick with the pack, learn new skills, and create deeper bonds with their humans. We believe a happy and fulfilled dog is the secret to a well behaved, four-legged family member. We hope you join us in brining this vision to life!

Meet Your Dog’s New Best Friend — Kristine Newman
Kristine A. Newman, a Bellingham native, is the founder of Good Dog Adventures. Her childhood was an exploration filled with joy and connection, wandering the woods of her backyard which was Galbraith Mountain with her faithful dogs. Though not as towering as the west coast’s grand peaks, those explorations on Galbraith were the foundation of a lifelong passion.
With over a decade of professional pet care experience, Kristine’s mission transcends traditional pet services. Her journey began with an arduous two-year scientific study, culminating in a Veterinary Technician degree in 2011. Although her license has since expired, her profound understanding of animal care and behavior shapes her daily work.
Her practice is about weaving a tapestry of trust, safety, and personalized attention where every pet is understood and celebrated. It’s a vision influenced by her cherished childhood memories, where dogs were free to roam, naturally exploring their environment without restricting confines.
Her commitment to safety and happiness is unwavering, backed by a proven track record of excellence. Under her watchful eye, your pet’s inner adventurer will reawaken, their tail wagging with excitement as they explore the world anew. This is more than a service; it’s a rewilding experience that pays homage to a time when pets could explore their world naturally.
